Do you like to enjoy the great outdoors while getting lost in the pages of a good book? We don’t blame you! Set up a comfy chair or lounger out on the spacious verandah, grab a glass of wine or cup of hot cocoa depending on the weather, and let the latest thriller or romance novel transport you to another world.

Be the life of the party

The expansive living room in the Rosseau is truly a great room! It spans the length of the home from front to back and the kitchen and dining area are conveniently located just off it. It makes an ideal space when you want to have friends or family over for entertaining.

Great for games night, holidays with family, or cozying up next to the fire.

Open-concept kitchen and dining area

For smaller more intimate dinners, you will find that the Rosseau’s open concept kitchen and dining area is perfectly suited for preparing and enjoying delicious meals. The dining area is partially separated from the rest of the kitchen by the breakfast bar and sinks. It is open enough to talk and visit with someone who is preparing food in the kitchen, yet separate enough to enjoy as its own space when it is time to eat.

Give everyone their space

The Rosseau has three bedrooms which are very well spaced out from each other. The Master Bedroom is located at the back of the home while the two smaller bedrooms are located in the front of the home on opposite sides of the living room. This configuration is sure to allow everyone to have ample personal space when spending time together at the cottage or as a family with children.

Let the sunshine in!

Sun seekers love the Rosseau for its large windows in both the front and back of the home. The front door is nestled between two large sidelights with a transom overhead to allow maximum light to shine in. In the Master Bedroom, you will find two windows overlooking the back of your property while each of the front bedrooms has one extra large window. With no shortage of natural light, you may even find the Rosseau saving you money on your energy bills.

Opt for a deck

The Rosseau can be built with or without a back deck. Should you choose to go with the option deck, it will be accessible from both the living room and the dining area off the kitchen. This means you’ll be able to extend your parties to the outdoors when the weather is nice as it will be convenient for both your guests from the living room and for anyone who is carrying out food from the kitchen.
